The price of the gold has hit the record high of Rs. 39,600 per tola (11.664 gm) in the domestic market on Tuesday as its price increased in international market.
The price of the yellow metal has been affected in the domestic market due to decreasing value of dollar in the international market.
The gold price has increased by Rs. 800 per tola compared to last Tuesday in the domestic market.
Gold was traded at US$ 1,389 on Monday while the price has increased to stand at US$ 1,410 per ounce on Tuesday in the international market.
The price of the gold was some Rs. 38,300 per tola last Thursday when the market was closed for Tihar festival.
Similarly, silver was traded at Rs 610 per 10 gm on last Thursday which went up to Rs 664.50 on Tuesday.
