India gold futures are likely to extend gains for a fourth day on Tuesday to hit a new record high, tracking gains in overseas markets.
The most-active December gold contract on MCX last closed at 20,336 rupees per 10 grams, up 1.83 percent, after hitting a fresh all-time high of 20,375 rupees.
The contract had gained 2.5 percent in the previous three sessions.
