Virender Sehwag and Virat Kohli continued their onslaught as India crossed the 300-run mark in the 42nd over in the 2011 World Cup opener against Bangladesh at the Shere Bangla stadium.
Kohli reached his 13 th half-century off 46 deliveries with the help of five fours.
Sehwag slammed nine fours and a big six in his 94-ball century.
Bangladesh spinner Mahmudullah clean bowled Gautam Gambhir (39) in the 24th over to break the dangerous looking second wicket partnership.
