It's rightly said that the first impression you make on a personal is the one that they will
remember the longest. Hence, it is very important to portary the right image and a positive attitude at the first meeting itself, especially when it comes to job interviews and first dates.
Here are some tips to help you make a perfect first impression:
* stand up straight and take a deep breath.
* Take a quick look at the person you want to impress.
* Walk with a confident stride.
* Look them straight in the eye and hold your gaze for two three sec.
* Smile as you shake their hand firmly.
* Introduce yourself by name and tell them that you are pleased to meet them.
* If you don't know their name in advance, don't hesitate to ask for it right at the start.
* Before saying goodbye, try to repeat the person's name in a natural way, such as " It was nice to meet you, Mr Singh' or 'See you soon, Nisha."
* Listen and make eye contact as the other person talks.
* Be confident and more importantly, be relaxed. Your attitude and energy are contagious.
