At the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery in July traded lower by 35 paise, or 0.34 per cent, to Rs 104.05 per kg, with a business turnover of 27 lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in August weakened by 30 paise, or 0.28 per cent, to Rs 105.15 per kg, with a trade volume of eight lots. Market analysts said besides weak trend in global markets, low domestic demand mainly kept pressure on the zinc futures prices.
