Should Government Ban Import Of Electronic Goods?

 Indian government is facing CAD (Current Account Deficit).

Out of India's total import, major part of USDs is used for:

1. Oil
2. Gold
3. Electronic Goods

Oil is mostly non-controllable. More import duty is levied on import of goods.

Now in our opinion Government should either ban import of electronic goods or import duty should be increased to 25-30%. to taper import of electronic goods.

And in this way, government can save valuable currency.
