Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has flagged - off its Airport Express Line that connects Delhi Airport T3 Terminal with the city, cutting down the travel time from 90 minutes to 20 minutes for the 23-km journey.Reliance Infrastructure - led concessionaire Delhi Airport Metro Express Pvt Ltd (DAMEPL) who is responsible for development, operation and maintenance of the Express Line has completed the project in 27 months.
This is the first metro service in the country to be built under PPP model.
