Rituparna Sengupta and Kiran Janjani are a happily married working couple. Rituparna is an executive in a bank which is in the business of micro-finance. Both are doing very well in their career, but are very ambitious.
Rituparna has got promotion recently as assistant vice-president. In a year, she may reach the president post , if she does well.
Suddenly she comes to know that she is pregnant and have to take 6 months maternity leave. She thinks if her replacement does well in her absence she will lose change to be a president. As Kiran was on business tour to Singapore, she on her own decision takes abortion. Kiran is angry when he returns but as understanding the situation, they decide to hire a womb.
Divya Dutta accepts to be surrogate mother. She is so happy with the child she is carrying in her womb, that convinces Rituparna that she has missed the pleasure which is bigger than power or money.
Roopkumar Rahod's music is melodious. But the movie is quite slow.
